Craig Barker is a geologist and holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Adelaide, South Australia with a Post Graduate Diploma in Geology from the University of Western Australia. He has over 15 years experience in the exploration and mining industry, including senior technical and management roles with listed companies in Australia, Guinea, China and Laos. Most recently, with Jubilee Mines NL, he discovered the Alex Mairs Two and Five orebodies which resulted in the continuation of the Cosmos underground mine and added to a string of discoveries. Craig has extensive international experience in narrow vein gold, porphyry copper and nickel exploration, development, open cut and underground mining. He joined DPM in mid 2007 as the Exploration Manager. Since then he has taken the role of Geology Manager to oversee both the production and exploration geology at Chelopech. Craig is a member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists and a Fellow of the Society of Economic Geologists. As Director Exploration and Resource/Reserve estimation, Craig will oversee and provide support for all resource and reserve estimation efforts in the company. He will also oversee all exploration projects and assist in the evaluation of future growth opportunities for the company.
