Rick Howes , , , President and Chief Executive Officer

Rick Howes is a Professional Mining Engineer with over 34 years' experience in the mining industry. His extensive industry experience includes progressive technical, operating, management and project roles in many of the largest underground mines and mining companies throughout Canada and, most recently, internationally. Throughout his career, Mr. Howes has been closely associated with the practices that make for world-class mining operations including Inco’s North Mine which won the 2006 Ryan Award as the safest mine in Canada. He is a visionary leader in mining, organizational innovation and transformation to create competitive advantage. Mr. Howes joined DPM in early 2009 as General Manager and Executive Director of the Chelopech mine and, in November 2010, was appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. In April 2013, he assumed the role of President and Chief Executive Officer.

Hume Kyle , , , Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Hume Kyle is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and accounting from the University of Western Ontario and a Graduate Diploma in accounting from McGill University. Mr. Kyle has over 25 years of private sector and public accounting experience, bringing a broad range of financial expertise and business experience to DPM, including strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, financial planning and reporting, taxation, treasury, risk management and corporate communications. Prior to joining DPM, Mr. Kyle held increasingly senior financial executive positions in a number of large, publicly traded, multinational energy and natural resource businesses. He has also served on a number of corporate and industry boards and has been an active supporter of local organizations, including the United Way. Mr. Kyle was appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in June 2011.

David Rae , , , Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

David Rae holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Metallurgy from Leeds University in Yorkshire, England. Mr. Rae is a seasoned international mining and smelting executive with extensive experience in Africa, Europe and Canada and has held increasingly senior operating and executive roles with international mining companies including Falconbridge and Xstrata. He joined the Company as Senior Vice President, Operations in November 2012 and was appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in May 2014.

Michael Dorfman , , , Executive Vice President, Corporate Development

Michael Dorfman has more than 15 years experience in the mining sector. Prior to joining DPM, he worked in the investment banking groups of Stonecap Securities (formerly Blackmont Capital), Thomas Weisel Partners (formerly Westwind Partners), and Merrill Lynch Canada. During this time, Mr. Dorfman advised senior management teams on numerous mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance transactions. He was responsible for originating, structuring, and executing buy and sell side M&A mandates as well as equity and debt capital markets transactions. Mr. Dorfman holds an Honours in Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. Mr. Dorfman joined DPM in April 2011 as Vice President, Corporate Development and was appointed Senior Vice President, Corporate Development in November 2011.

Kelly Stark-Anderson , , , Executive Vice President, Corporate Affairs, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary

Ms. Stark-Anderson has over 25 years of experience as a lawyer. Before joining Dundee Precious Metals, she was VP Legal and Corporate Secretary for SSR Mining Inc. and, previous to that, she led her own firm providing corporate/commercial, governance and securities compliance services to public, private and crown entities. Prior to starting her own firm, Ms. Stark-Anderson held progressively senior in-house counsel positions with the Spectra Energy group of companies. She also practiced law with Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP in the firm’s Toronto and Vancouver offices. Ms. Stark-Anderson obtained her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts, Honours Economics from the University of Calgary. Ms. Stark-Anderson volunteers as the Chair of the Board of Diving Plongeon Canada, the national governing body for the sport of springboard and tower diving.

Mark Crawley , , , Vice President, Commercial

Mark Crawley joined Dundee Precious Metals as Vice President, Commercial in November 2016 with 20 years of nonferrous metals industry experience in sales, raw materials purchasing and commodities trading. Prior to joining DPM, Mr. Crawley served as Senior Vice President Commercial at KGHM International Ltd. He has also held positions with Noranda, Traxys (Sogem) and Luis Dreyfus Commodities in Canada, Belgium and Switzerland. Mr. Crawley holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of New Brunswick as well as an MBA from Simon Fraser University.

Iliya Garkov , , PhD , , Vice President, and Managing Director, Bulgaria

Iliya Garkov has three decades of international mining experience in Bulgaria, Australia and Armenia. In a number of leadership roles within Dundee Precious Metals, he has contributed to Chelopech becoming a world-class mining operation. Instrumental in a number of key operational enhancements, Iliya significantly enhanced the development of organizational culture and gaining stakeholder support. Iliya became Vice President and General Manager for Bulgaria in 2014 and in June 2019, his role increased to Managing Director for Bulgaria. His approach to managing stakeholder expectations made it possible for the Ada tepe mine in Krumovgrad to become the first successful green mine, in 40 years, to be developed in Bulgaria. He earned a PhD mining engineer from the Mining and Geology University in Sofia and has earned degrees in Administration and Management. He is also a graduate of the London Business School Senior Executive Programme.

Richard Gosse , , , Vice President, Exploration

Richard Gosse brings over 28 years of experience in minerals exploration working for such companies as BHP, Anglo American and Rio Tinto in a number of different commodities. He has extensive experience in intrusive hosted and sediment hosted deposits as well as mesothermal, epithermal and porphyry gold and copper deposits. He has most recently served as Vice President, Exploration with Turquoise Hill Resources (formerly Ivanhoe Mines) and South Gobi Resources. He has successfully led exploration work in a variety of countries in Europe and Asia including Bulgaria, Mongolia, India, China and Indonesia. Mr. Gosse holds a Bachelor of Science in B.Sc. Geology from Queen's University and a Masters in Mineral Exploration from the Royal School of Mines in London. Mr. Gosse joined DPM in January 2013 as Vice President, Exploration.

Nikolay Hristov , , PhD , , Vice President, Sustainability and External Relations

Nikolay Hristov obtained both a Master of Science and Ph.D. in Mineral Processing from the University of Mining and Geology in Sofia and has completed courses in both Engineering Geo-ecology and International Economic Relations. He also recently completed the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School. Prior to joining Chelopech in 2004, Mr. Hristov held positions in mineral processing, research and development. Starting as a metallurgist with DPM, Mr. Hristov moved through a variety of increasingly senior roles before assuming the role of Vice President and General Manager, Chelopech Mine in 2011. Mr. Hristov established a foundation of continuous improvement at the Chelopech mine, overseeing an expansion that doubled the mine’s output. During his tenure as VP and GM for Chelopech, Mr. Hristov played a central role working with a diverse stakeholder group and draws on that experience in his role as Vice President External Relations and Sustainability.

Zebra Kasete , , , Vice President and Managing Director, Tsumeb

Zebra Kasete brings almost 30 years of mining and smelting experience to DPM having held senior positions within the mining industry, serving both Rio Tinto and Rossing Uranium. He has extensive experience in the areas of production, processing, procurement, business and strategic development. Prior to joining DPM, Mr. Kasete was the Managing Director of Murowa Diamonds, Zimbabwe, and has held positions internationally including Namibia, Australia and the United States. Mr. Kasete is a metallurgist and holds a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands. Mr. Kasete was appointed Vice President and Managing Director of DPM Tsumeb in February 2016.

Mirco Nolte , , , Vice President Operational Excellence

Mirco Nolte began his career by joining the Tsumeb smelter as a metallurgist in 2007. Since then, he has held increasingly senior operational roles at our Namibian and Bulgarian operations. In 2015 Mirco accepted the role Corporate Director, Processing to lead a number of significant enhancements and optimization programs throughout our operational sites. In June 2019, he earned the role of Vice President Operational Excellence. Mirco Nolte earned a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering and Masters of Science from Stellenbosch University, South Africa. He received his Masters of Business Administration from ESADE Business School in Spain.

Matthieu Risgallah , , , Vice President Technology

Matthieu Risgallah brings more than 20 years of leadership and technology experience including digital, information technology, and operational technology. He has worked in consulting and asset intensive industries including pharmaceutical and chemical multinational corporations, where his focus has been on value creation and delivery. He has broad international experience working in France, Switzerland and the Netherlands and lead multicultural global teams, before joining our Corporate team, based in Toronto, in 2018. In June 2019 he became Vice President, Technology with oversight for all locations. Matthieu holds a Bachelor Degree of Business Administration from HEC Montréal, and a Masters Degree from Ecole de Management Lyon Business School.

Alex Wilson , , , Vice President, Human Resources

Alex Wilson brings over 20 years of human resources experience, having focused the last 15 years in the mining industry. Before joining Dundee Precious Metals, Ms. Wilson served as Vice President, Organizational Effectiveness for Barrick Gold Corporation, and previous to that, held progressively senior roles in the Human Resources team supporting the global mine site operations, projects and the corporate headquarters. Ms. Wilson has broad expertise across the human resources spectrum and provides leadership in the areas of talent management, learning & development, expatriate management, talent acquisition, organization design, workforce planning and program service delivery. Prior to Barrick Gold, Ms. Wilson held positions in Recruiting and Human Resources consulting for Deloitte. Ms. Wilson holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education from York University.

Walter Farag , , , Corporate Treasurer

Walter Farag is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst with over 25 years of experience in finance and treasury roles. He has expertise in a wide variety of functions including treasury, debt capital markets, structured finance, taxation, credit, cash flow management, and rating agency relations. He brings to DPM broad work experience having worked in the financial services sector for Canadian and US global banks as well as holding senior treasury positions in the building materials and travel industries. His international exposure includes assignments in Brazil, Spain and England. Mr. Farag has structured and executed debt financings in South and Central America, Asia and Africa for Canadian mining and resource multinationals. Mr. Farag began his career at Pricewaterhouse Coopers after obtaining a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto. He sits on the Board of Directors for Greenwood College School, an independent school in Toronto, and was a past Board member of Inner City Angels, a non-profit arts education charity.
