• What is Dundee Precious Metals’ stock symbol?

  We are listed as DPM on the Toronto Stock Exchange. 

• Can I buy shares directly from DPM?

  No, however you can purchase DPM shares through a direct or online brokerage.

• Is there a Dividend Reinvestment plan?

  No, DPM does not have a dividend reinvestment plan.

• What is the company’s history?

  Originally Dundee Precious Metals was a closed-end fund, with a majority of its investments in the gold mining industry. In September 2003, after extensive due diligence, we acquired two gold assets in Bulgaria. In April 2004, we finalized our conversion to a gold mining company.

  Today, we are a mid-tier gold producer, based in Canada, with operating mines in Bulgaria, a smelter in Namibia, and development properties in Ecuador, Serbia, Canada and Bulgaria.

• What assets does Dundee Precious Metals own and where are they located?

  DPM global portfolio includes the Chelopech underground mine (100%), the Ada Tepe open-pit mine (100%), both of which are located in Bulgaria, the Tsumeb smelter in Namibia (92%), the Timok gold project in Serbia (100%) and the Loma Larga project in Ecuador (100%). DPM also has two exploration projects, Čoka Rakita in Serbia and Tierras Coloradas in Ecuador.

• Why do you own a smelter in Namibia?

  The Tsumeb smelter is one of the few smelters that can treat complex polymetallic ores—including those with higher arsenic content, such as concentrate from our Chelopech mine. We acquired the facility in 2010 with the objective of ensuring a stable, consistent facility for our concentrates. Commencing in 2024, we no longer expect to ship our concentrate from Chelopech for processing at the Tsumeb smelter, and no longer consider the asset strategic to our portfolio.
